I feel privileged to work with organisations that make a huge difference to people’s lives, putting my experience of the corporate and charity sectors to good use every working day.
Currently I am helping Samaritans of Cornwall at Truro with their trusts and grants applications – managing their £650,000 capital appeal to relocate, as well as ensuring that they currently have the funds that they need to deliver their emergency response to the community suffering the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
I also help Cornwall Heritage Trust with their corporate sponsorship and engagement – helping them to build their opportunities for corporate support that raises funds for the charity, whilst giving excellent marketing returns to the company. As a “proud Cornish maid”, I’m delighted to be able to help protect, preserve and promote the things that make our county unique.
Other organisations that I am working with range from St Ives Bowling Club and their “green boards” around their bowling green and trust applications, through to St Ives Surf Life Saving Club, where I engage and look after their annual Biathlon sponsors.
I thrive when I work with people whose company I enjoy, on initiatives that I feel really matter.
